If you have applied through UCAS, instructions regarding how and when to reply to your offers are available on the .
If you applied to Keele through UCAS and have received decisions from all your chosen institutions, you now need to choose two institutions, your first (Firm) and second (Insurance) choices.
If you would like to hold Keele as your firm or your insurance choice, you should indicate this on UCAS track by the deadline date given.
If you have made a direct application to Keele, please email, to let us know if you wish to accept your offer or not.
If your offer is conditional upon results in examinations you are about to take and/or your English language test results, you should send the Admissions team a copy of your results as soon as you receive them. Please email them to.
If you have applied through UCAS and you are studying for A-levels or the International Baccalaureate in the UK, we will receive your results from the examination board, however, you will also need to send a copy of your examination results to us directly at the address above to apply for a Tier 4 student visa.

If you do not respond to your offers by UCAS deadlines, your offers will be declined automatically.
If you are yet to receive a decision from one of your chosen universities you will be unable to accept your offer at present, we recommend you the university you are waiting to hear from directly for further advice.
If you applied to Keele directly, or via the Common Application, we advise you to reply to Keele as soon as possible to allow sufficient time for your accommodation and/or visa applications to be processed. In this instance please send an email toto accept your offer, or send a reply to the offer email you received.
If you do not meet the conditions of our offer, please us atas we may still be able to accept you onto your original course or offer you a suitable alternative course.
Keele offers a wide variety of scholarships to International and EU students.

EU Undergraduate students are eligible for the Keele Excellence Scholarship.
EU Postgraduate students are eligible to apply for the Keele Graduate Bursary and the Keele Graduate Scholarship, as well as the Postgraduate Loans Scheme.
All students must provide evidence of a recognised qualification in English Language, such as IELTS. For more information view our entry requirements.

Details on the maintenance funds required for Tier 4 sponsorship can be viewed here. Your actual expenditure on living cost may be higher as you may choose to spend more on travel or entertainment.
There is a secure wireless connection, ‘Eduroam’, available at all times across campus. Connecting to this is simple, you will be able to use your Keele email address and Password which you will be given on the day of your arrival.

The campus has a 24 hour Security Team assisted by Campus Police.
Keele Students’ Union also provides a free Safety Bus service to and from Student accommodation.
This ensures that every student can return home safely both on and off campus, in the evening and early hours of the morning.
The Campus Library is open 24 hours a day during semester time. The building is laid out over three floors and holds the books and printed journals that you will need for the duration of your course. You can also choose to study in either a Silent Study or Group Study space area.
There are also a number of IT Labs and large IT Suites that can be booked by students. The Library is also Wi-Fi enabled, so you can bring in your own laptop and work anywhere you like.
Undergraduates can check out as many as 16 books at a time. You can check items in and out using self-service terminals on the Middle Floor, but if you have any queries staff at the Service Counter will be happy to help.
You can also photocopy material, print your work in the IT suite / labs and request material we don’t have in the library using our Inter Library Loans service.
The Library also pays for access to a range of resources and databases that are made available to you via your Library account.

At Keele we understand that the diversity of student life means that one day you will need to grab a quick bite to eat and the next day you will want to enjoy a leisurely meal with your friends. Therefore we have restaurants, sandwich shops and cafes catering to everyone’s needs. Keele's menus provide wholesome, healthy choices of locally sourced and Fairtrade produce, catering for a range of dietary requirements including: gluten free, halal, vegan, vegetarian and lactose free.
If you apply for accommodation at Keele you can also opt for a ‘catered package’ which provides breakfast and a 2 course evening meal, including drinks, 7 days a week!
Yes! Keele has three shops located on campus where you will find a selection of grocery items, soft drinks as well as chilled and frozen food. In the Students’ Union shop you can buy stationery, the infamous ‘Keele Hoodie’, toiletries, cards, sandwiches, snacks and oriental foods etc. There is a book store called ‘Blackwells’, Costa Coffee, a newsagents with a Post Office, a Pharmacy, and a branch of the bank of ‘Santander’.
The local bus services are very frequent with departures every ten minutes from Keele campus to local areas such as Newcastle, Stoke on Trent (rail station) and Stoke on Trent City Centre. All providers have a range of discount tickets and offer an annual pass to Keele students. These are available from the Students' Union Reception and give unlimited use of all First Bus services in Staffordshire and South Cheshire.
For rail travel, Stoke on Trent train station and Crewe train station are the two closest stations. Crewe provides links to northbound services, going as far as Glasgow, and Stoke on Trent is a main stop for trains linking to many areas of the UK, including London, Birmingham and Manchester. National Rail offer a special railcard for 16-25 year olds (and 26+ years who are in full-time study) which gives a discount of a third on nationwide travel.

There are over 100 student societies, covering a range of interests including sports, performing arts, music, media, religion and culture. A full list of societies can be found here at .
There are football and rugby teams, and more unusual sports on offer such as archery, mountaineering and even Quidditch! We also have our very own gym on campus, which is located in the Keele Sports Centre.

Keele Students' Union (Keele SU) is the focal point for student social life. The Union organises gigs, club nights and many more events all year round!
The Students’ Union building is situated in the centre of campus within easy walking distance from all Halls of Residence. It houses:
- K2 & The Bubble: KUSU’s own nightclub venue hosting regular nights covering a wide range of music genres
- The Ballroom: hosts a great mix of sell-out live music and events and holds weekly pop, R'n'B, retro, indie and dance nights
- Blueprint: quiet and comfortable serving coffees, wine, cocktails and food
- Outback: purpose-built outdoor seating area
- Munch and Blend: KUSU’s catering outlets
- The Scruffy Squirrel: shows big-screen Sports and has a games and pool table area

Whatever your religion or faith, Keele has the facilities to support you in your worship. We have an interdenominational chapel and a Mosque on campus.
The chapel provides a focus for Christian worship and a quiet room called ‘The Space’ which individuals of all faiths and none can use for personal worship or quiet contemplation.
The Mosque is open to all students on and off campus providing facilities for Muslim worship and holds daily congregational prayers.

Recru it networ is centrally located in the UK which means that we are very close to all the big cities, and have very good transport links. The nearest train station is Stoke-on-Trent, and from there you can get to London in 90 minutes, Manchester is 35 minutes away and Birmingham is about an hour away by train.
If you are in the UK and would like to come and visit us, there are a number of open days and offer holder days each year, giving prospective undergraduate students the opportunity to visit the campus and learn more about Keele and university life in general.
If you are unable to make any of the scheduled offer holder days but would still like to visit the campus, please , we will try to arrange an independent visit for you, including a tour of the campus and possibly the chance to meet with a course tutor.

You can travel by taxi, coach or train depending on how much luggage you have and how much you are willing to spend.
There are frequent trains from Manchester Airport to Manchester Piccadilly station where there is a regular service to Stoke-on-Trent railway station. Alternatively, a UK coach/bus company, National Express, operates a direct service to Stoke-on-Trent (Hanley bus station) eight times a day.
A taxi from Manchester airport to Keele will take about 45 minutes and cost around £80.
The Keele International Student Support operates a FREE Meet and Greet Airport Collection service for all new students who are arriving in the UK for the first time. This service is available from Manchester International Airport and London Heathrow Airport ONLY, and will only be available on certain days – more information will be released later this year – please keep checking keele.ac.uk/arrival/arrivingatkeele as this page is updated regularly.
The 'CAS' Number (Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies) forms part of your visa application.
Once you have met the conditions of your offer, and paid a tuition fee deposit to Keele you will be sent a ‘Visa & Confirmation Checklist’ (previously known as a 'CAS Checklist') by email. The Checklist will contain all of the information you have provided to the University in your application, you will need to check the information in the checklist carefully, and respond to the email stating whether you agree with the checklist or whether there are any changes that should be made. Once you have confirmed that the details are correct, we will then obtain a CAS Number, which you will need for your visa application. Please note that we cannot apply for a CAS number until three months before the start of your course.
The visa application process varies from country to country, we would advise that you allow yourself plenty of time to apply for your visa to make sure your application is completed before your start date here at Keele. Please see more information on Tier 4 visas.
